1. Skills planning, Curriculum Development, Quality Assurance and Knowledge Management, Strategic skills Development Projects
Purpose: To facilitate and coordinate skills planning, curriculum and materials development, quality assurance, knowledge management and library services
Functions:
Provide compliance, monitoring and impact assessment
Facilitate knowledge management and provide library services
Develop and coordinate implementation of provincial HRD policies and strategies
Develop and maintain the curriculum for the Academy
Provide a quality assurance and management service
2. Training Support Services
Purpose: To manage the logistical and administrative arrangements for the delivery of training, special projects and events
Functions:
Manage the learner management system
Provide a training administration service
Manage service level agreements
Ensure the provision of IT support
Manage the events schedule of the Academy
Provide logistical support for events
3. Training and Development: Generic and Transversal Training, Leadership and Management Development, Adult Education and Training in the workplace
Purpose: To facilitate, coordinate and provide leadership, management development, generic, transversal training and AET in the workplace programmes
Functions:
Facilitate and coordinate the provision of generic and transversal training programme
Facilitate and coordinate the provision of leadership and management development training programmes
Facilitate and coordinate the provision of AET in the workplace
Facilitate and manage strategic partnerships with internal and external providers for the provision of training and development interventions
Provide leadership, guidance and support on the provision of training interventions
